Starting something new can feel intimidating, but at BODYROK, we're here to make your first class feel welcoming, supportive and enjoyable.

Whether you're completely new to Reformer Pilates, returning to exercise, or simply looking for a fresh challenge, our classes are designed to help you move with confidence from day one.

What Should I Wear?

We recommend comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely.

Grip socks are recommended for Reformer Pilates classes for safety and hygiene.

Don't forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout your workout.

Do I Need Any Experience?

Not at all.

Many of our members started with no Pilates experience whatsoever. Our instructors provide clear guidance throughout every class and offer modifications to suit different fitness levels, injuries and experience levels.

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced mover, you'll feel right at home.

What Is a Reformer?

The reformer is a specialised Pilates machine that uses springs to create resistance. It allows you to perform hundreds of exercises that improve strength, mobility, balance and coordination.

One of the reasons people love Reformer Pilates is that it can be adjusted to suit all fitness levels. The same exercise can be made easier or more challenging depending on your individual needs.

What Can I Expect During Class?

Expect a full-body workout that will challenge your muscles, improve your posture and leave you feeling energised.

Classes typically include:

  • Core strengthening

  • Lower body work

  • Upper body strengthening

  • Balance and stability exercises

  • Stretching and mobility work

Every instructor has their own style, but our focus is always on helping you move well and feel great.

How Early Should I Arrive?

We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes before your class starts.

This gives you time to meet your instructor, get familiar with the studio and ask any questions before class begins.

What If I'm Not Fit Enough?

This is one of the most common concerns we hear—and the answer is simple: you don't need to be fit to start.

Pilates helps you build strength, fitness and confidence over time. Everyone starts somewhere, and our instructors are there to support you every step of the way.
